is it true that your failures don't define you? oh Yes! a wise man once said "the only time you fail is when you fail to try" what a wise saying that affirms what the bible says concerning not giving up, are you depressed by what life brings to you? the devil will do everything he can to depress you to get you out of God's presence. Remember in the presence of God there is the fullness of joy (ps 16:11)
once this joy is replaced with the spirit of heaviness which is what motivates your inability to continue or frustrates your efforts, this brings you out of the presence of God and leaves you exposed to oppression of the enemy, for he hath given unto us the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness (isa 61:3), God will never allow anything to be put on us that we cant handle, keep on trying till you get it right and keep saying to your self "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". Until you see failure as a point of elevation you may never be willing to try again. A popular artiste once said "u aint got a message if you dont go through the mess"-deitrick Haddon come on! keep on the faith you almost there, be encouraged and i pray the spirit of the Lord will be with you because he is the only one that can comfort you at perilous times.
